This term grade 5 are exploring the many adaptations that plants and animals have made to survive in a variety of habitats.
Here we are exploring the school habitat, taking photos of plants, ready to label the many adaptations that ensure survival in the Brisbane environment.
We have also had some fun with the App “comic maker” to demonstrate our understanding of the adaptations of animals in extreme environments. Here is a task the 5’s worked on;
This task required each student to apply specific knowledge of adaptations. It has given me an insight into the varied levels of understanding and an opportunity to discuss these with individuals. This feedback will assist students in the coming weeks as we look towards the assessment task.
