The Hour of Code

The Hour of Code  is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries.   Why code?  Every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science. It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity.  By starting early, students will have a foundation for success in any 21st century career path.

To participate, students can work on an activity for any hour during the week of December 7-13.    Here are some great ideas:

As a school, we have an iTunesU course to assist families with understanding the range of activities you can access to support your kids to learn to code.
