The e20 Showcase provides a forum for sharing best practice in education across sectors of education. The entrants were of high quality and submitted from universities, private and state schools and TAFEs.   Jason and I were amazed to find out that our entry had won.  With esteemed judges such as globally influential Stephen Heppell and Graham Brown-Martin from Learning Without Borders, this was an exciting event!    See below for the link to the website and further down for the entry video.

  • Impact on Teaching/Learning in your sector
  • Innovation and use of Technology (eg. SAMR)
  • Embedded Practice & Longterm Impact

How exciting for Mr Schutz and the children of 4SS that all their hard work had paid off in terms of validation of a learning unit that was longer than other units and slightly messier!  It was also, however, a unit that fully engaged most of the children, achieving a depth of knowledge that was quite impressive.  The children were using a gaming tool that bemuses most teachers and scares others.   Well done to Mr Schutz for his innovative outlook and for placing the students at the centre of the design of the learning experience.
