Yr 6 have reconnected with their leadership blogs this week and will be completing one blog per week as a reflection of activities completed in the classroom. For their first blog for 2017, they are referring to their Drama Showcase which was shared with many other students and parents this week. At the conclusion of their performances this week, the students were asked to share with the audience what they had learnt, in addition to the dramatic aspects of Commedia dell’arte. Students had easily raised the idea of persistence, confidence building and the need to get along with others.
Back in the classroom, the next day, after an initial discussion with the students about their first leadership blog for the year, it was pointed out to the students that all of the ideas they raised, were linked to our ‘5 Keys’ – displayed below.
We will look forward to reading these blogs and seeing evidence of the evolving nature of their understanding of leadership and the value of reflection.
