Pepper – Programming Interface

It’s our second week with Pepper!  Classes have spent the first week just wondering about how he  (it?) works and having conversations with teachers and each other about his capabilities.

In this second week, we plan to make the programming interface more visible and accessible to our students, teachers and parents.  In doing so, we are also encouraging our community to be using the vocabulary of the Digital Technologies Curriculum – serving to assist us to reinforce this language with our learners.

Ask:  What is Pepper?

Ask:   How do we program Pepper?

Ask:  If we make mistakes with the programming what would we do?

Ask:  In our algorithm – what kind of things can we leave out?

Ask:   What kind of programming are we doing?

Ask:  What kind of problems in the Library could he help us solve?  What would be the digital solution?

Ask:  What kind of information could be an example of user input?

Ask:  could we make this program more efficient?

Ask:  How would we show that algorithm?
