Our 2018 STEAM units are framed within a ‘How Might We….’ inquiry.    For our first year in 2018 of designing these units, it has evolved that several units are utilising additional connections within HASS.

Our Year 5 students have entered a prototyping phase with their solar ovens.   They have completed their designs and are now testing the first iteration of this prototype.   After gathering some data about its performance, they are allowed to make one change, thereby creating their second iteration. They then gather the same data to be able to make a comparison.  Many of the students used their devices to film a time-lapse movie of the testing.
