STEAM – The Processes Ensuring Curriculum and Assessment Alignment

As we move into the next year of implementation of our STEAM vision, it is interesting to consider how emerging processes are supporting the alignment between curriculum and assessment.

We have developed our own school model of design to support thinking across the curriculum and we have mapped where in our design model aligns with the Processes and Production skills of the Digital Technologies Curriculum.  To support the process of curriculum design, we have also structured a planning and mapping process designed to take advantage of alignments across curriculum areas whilst also preserving the integrity of the curriculum areas.
