We welcomed some teachers from other schools on Friday for some professional learning. Teacher from 4 schools in the area attended to continue their progress towards investigating BYO for their own school site and others visited to engage with the program in our Prep Years that supports the implementation of Digital Technologies in our Early Years along with the creative use of ICTs.
Year 4 classrooms hosted the teachers where they saw maths rotations involving a variety of tools including iPads to support differentiation, inquiry and personalised pathways.
In Yr 6, the teachers saw the progress of the students in making their digital picture story books.
Rachel Minns then supported a group of teachers to experience an age appropriate approach to Digital Technologies along with creative use of ICTs across the curriculum.
